Video Game for teen girl?

Question

Hey guys!

I need some suggestions for PS2/PC games for a 16 yr. old girl.

I was looking at this PC game called Alice that I think she may like. She tends to enjoy things like that. If you haven't heard of it, here is the link to it:

It's an older game, but has gotten good reviews and looks like something she'd like.

Well Im not sure if she enjoy's simulation games, but I absolutely LOVE a PS2 game called Harvest Moon. (Harvest Moon A Wonderful Life: Special Edition for PS2). Its a first person game where you are a farmer, and you raise animals from cows to ducks, you build relationships with the towns people, find a wife and have a family.

If she likes action games i would suggest Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts. I love both of those games as well. I am 15.

Usually cute characters tend to pull the girls in. I know for a fact that Mario Galaxy has been the turning point for some girls into the video gaming world. With all the options to turn into cute little characters like bees and springs it plays on the female emotional plane. The next step I would say is to slowly introduce some different games which play on her strengths. Keep in mind there are opportunities which you can use to drive the gamer side in her. For example grudges and conflicts that you may have with her you suggest the idea of sorting it out through a match in the gaming world. The more you do this the more her love of the gaming world will grow. From personal experience the ladies love the Wii because they actually feel like they are in the game not just mashing buttons. Also if she is a health freak the Wii again is right for her because of the versatility of the system with Wii Fit. Hope some of this helps.

I'd recommend Guitar Hero (3 is the best) because it's a game all types of people like.

Sims2 is good.  So is Guitar Hero.  I can't really think of any others right now.

If she's into horror games, try something like resident evil games. Pretty much if it's an old game then chances are she won't like it, but that is just a guess. Personally, it's up to you.
