Video Layouts... Animation?

Alright, I've tried and tried again and I cannot get this to work...

I own Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended which allows me to work with video layers.. I quickly found out that this program can't save those video layers as a GIF if there are regular layers in the file. So, I gave up on my adobe and heard from someone that they made their graphics as GIFs in Jasc Animation Program... so now I have that program and I still can't open a video in it. Is their something I'm doing wrong or is there ANYONE that can help me? I've tried soooo many times and I'm getting a bit desperate and frustrated now. You would be my luff forever.. help a poor french girl out HA! Thanks loves!

i have adobe too i know how to save them u click on file then save for web and devices and take it from there but i dont know how to open a animated gif in photoshop cs3 so you should save the project file so you can edit it
