Video camera problem...?

G:\DCIM\100_FILE\DIGI0039.AVI could not be imported. The required codec was not downloaded automatically because the Download codecs automatically check box is not selected in the Options dialog box.

Well my sis has this video camera and we were trying to find a way to get the video clips on to windows movie maker, yet when I tried to import the video that thing up there popped up. What exactly does it mean and how can we solve this?
