Video camera showing black screen?

I have a JVC model GR-D33U. It has started showing just a black screen when you try to record something. Not all the time but alot of the time, it will record but it is just a black screen. After I turn it on and off and wait a little it will work again. Has anyone had this happen, I have emailed JVC with no response. I have had it 2 years.

It sounds like your camcorder is starting to develop a CCD problem - JVC will repair your camcorder for free according to the Customer Notice on their website.
