Video editors please?

I just shot a wedding and this is my first one. I am doing the editing in imovie06. Now, it happens that I can see the date and time of the wedding in the actual footage and I dont want it there. I dont know how to take the date and time out of the image. I am in the editing room right now. Could you please let me know? This is an emergency thanks.

You can see that because there is a menu selection on the camcorder that was on when you shot the video. You *might* be able to turn it off now - but since you did not tell us the camera or how you are transferring the video.

Editing room? iMovie just runs on a Mac...
