1. download youtube videos to your computer.

2. use free online converter to convert the youtube videos to iPod format files.

3. transfer the files to iPod using iTunes.

There are several ways, I went to snapfiles.com and downloaded a program that will extract video url from youtube and convert it to mp4, which is the ipod format and thus allowing me to import the file onto the ipod.
