Video ipod help!?!?!?

Question

i was just about to listen to a song when my ipod made funny noises and then it vibrated. i put it down on the table, it was frozen so i restarted it (by pressing menu and select). when i turned it on again it has the frown face and says apple.com/support/ipod. i went there and it says to go to apple store, has this happened to anyway, tell me your story, what you did and how much it cost.

oh and something rattles when i shake my ipod

The hard drive broke. This shouldn't happen, and Apple should replace it for free.

if its less than one year old, apple will give you the same ipod free. just go and say, i dont know whats going on, it just wont work.
