Video recorded on a DVD-R does not want to play in...

I want to record taped video's onto DVDs to store as the cassette systyms are becoming obsolete. My DVD player does not acknowledge the recording. I am using EasyCap from CORAL and the format is VCD 2.0.

Does SANSUI 212S support and read this format (VCD 2.0) pse.???

Solutions pse?
