Videos from my video camera won't work on youtube..?

They won't work on youtube, windows movie maker, one true media..

Nothing.

It's because they are in Quicktime format or something..

.MOV I believe..

And only quicktime will view them.

It says I need the Codec for it...

Where do i get that? :/

  1. You can upload mov files to YouTube, but they must be less than 100mb in size.  You might also have to upload the video in standard definition instead of high definition.


  2. Well I don't know why Youtube would not work. Youtube accepts .mov file formats. Anyway, you can install free codecs at http://www.free-codecs.com/

    You just have to look through it and find the right one. It's a trusted site for me because I had to install some codecs for my videos to play on my vista laptop.
