Former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Patrick-Vieira-c29316 believes that Manchester United don’t have any quality at the club and believes the team is going to fall from grace in the coming seasons.
Vieira believes that United’s decision to bring back Paul Scholes from retirement is the first clear sign of the problems that the team is having, because of the fact that bringing in such an old player just proves that there is no depth or quality in the team.
The Frenchman admitted that he was still a very big fan of the midfielder and loved watching him play, but he also believes that United need to plan for the future, or they could have a lot of problems in the coming seasons.
When talking about United and the way things are shaping up for them, Vieira is quoted to have said: “http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Paul-Scholes-c29394 is a player that I really love and admire, one of the best English players of the last few years, and seeing him come back is good for him and for United”
“But for him to come back just shows a little bit of weakness in United, because they had to bring a player back who was 37.”
“I think it shows that, in the next few years, it will be really difficult for United to cope with other teams because, with all the respect I have for Scholes, him coming back shows that they don’t have talent in there to replace him.”
He then went on to add that United had some serious problems in retaining the young players coming up the ranks and this could lead to more problems for the team in the future.
“When you see United losing young players like Ravel Morrison and maybe http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Paul-c29347 Pogba, they should be really worried because that wouldn’t have happened in the past.”
It is hard not to agree with Vieira, but given how successful United have been in recent weeks, it is safe to assume that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Ferguson might have a long term plan for the team and that it is only a matter of physically implementing that plan.
