  1. Nha Trang or PhanThiet. Good places, warm around 30-38. More hot away from the cost.

  2. Please ignore the moron above,In Nha Trang Vietnam in March it will be hot 35 to 40 %,If you like hot days on the beach its deffinately the best time to go.As for the elephant ride,i suppose it could be scarey if you are a girl and under the age of 8.

  3. i went to both places 2 summers ago and i was sweating like no other at the golden palace in thailand and itll be hot at VN as well. the elephant rides were great, you might feel like you would fall off but theres bars to hold onto so no worries!

  4. both countries are good destinations.

  5. Reply from Pieter M is disgusting. He is such as stupid and arrogant.

If you visit VN or Thailand around March, it is very hot. In VN, watch out for drinking water. The best for drinking is coconut juice or beer. Drink boil water. I am sure you will have fun in Thailand or Vietnam.

  6. Please ignore Pieter M's comment. By the way he wrote, you can tell that he has no knowledge about neither country.

Overall temperature in Vietnam ranges between 22'c to 27'c. Summer starts from May to October and cold season starts from November to April. Northern cities are usually colder than southern cities. Temperature can drop below 12'c in Hanoi during the colder months. I don't think it would be too hot in March when you visiting Vietnam.

Because of the rainfall in Vietnam, the temperatures are considerably lower than the surrounding countries.

Hanoi- the average temperature in the city is around 30’ C in summer and 17’C in the winter.

Saigon (Ho chi Minh city)- the average temperature is 27’C throughout the year.

Vietnam has so many beautiful beaches such as Nha Trang and Cam Ranh. If you like the mountain, Dalat or Sapa is the place to be. If you're interested in history, Hanoi and Hue are also the place you want to visit. Not to mention Ha Long Bay, one of the world secret wonders.

Vietnam is far from being rich, with the determination, independent and investment from foreigners, Vietnam is now one of the countries in SE Asia with a rapid grow economy.

If you're not comfortable of elephant rides. I'm sure they have other activities that you can do while you're in Thailand.

Welcome to Vietnam. I hope you enjoy your stay.
