Vietnam: nail superstition (read on)?

my mom said that in vietnamese culture its not good to shape the nails

but im shaping it to play guitar, can someone clear this up please

Does that mean your mom has really really really long nails ? Just kidding with you . Yes, sadly truth. some people believe that. they also believe that if you spend too much time on a typing job it lead to heart problem later on in life. But there's no scientific prove that. like you say it maybe just a nail superstition.
