There are a lot of VIETNAMESE people got last name is NGUYEN,TRAN,LE,LY thought.The reason so many people got that last name NGUYEN because the last king of VIETNAMESE is NGUYEN.

   The history of VIETNAM there are only true four DYNASTY of royal kings are:

first 1: LY 216 years

second 2: TRAN 195 YEARS

third 3: LE 140 years

four 4: NGUYEN around 100 years!

lots of viet ppl hav  nguyen as their last name because i think my mom told me that a viet king name ppl change thier lasts names to nyugen but i may be related to u cuz mai grandma has that last name

my dad's last name is nguyen but i have my mom's last name and thats truong. i think that's a mixed chinese name or something. i know what you mean. vietnamese people have too many people with the same last name. i really want to know why.
