  1. You already mentioned the best thing on the menu...pho, which is Viet noodle soup.  Stick with that, you can order it with various meat ingredients.  Don't forget to add the basil, mint, lime juice, hoisin sauce and sriracha.

Since you are in Carol Stream, IL, go to Argyle street in Chicago for great Viet food.

  2. I love, love, love Vietnamese food and  when I eat out I usually go to my favourite Vietnamese place and order one of the following:

Vietnamese spring rolls, much nicer than Chinese ones, they have pork and crab meat in them. and the dipping sauce is great, a sort of salty sweet and sour taste. The main ingredient is the fish sauce that's a staple over in Vietnam.

Banh Seo (I don't know if I spelt that properly: A big Vietnamese-style pancake stuffed with  pork, shrimp, carrot and other vegetables. It's made with tumeric so it's a  bright yellow colour.

  3. um idk ive never been in one off those places!!!! but ive been in chainess and japeness.. if they have fried rrice and mandorine chicken then order that!!!!!!!

  4. Pho is the best or bon ba haua they taste amazing you should try it it is one of the best.

  5. Hot noodle dishes: Phở served in a huge bowl, bún bò Huế (central noodle soup with pork and beef, quite spicy), hủ tíu (Southern seafood noodle soup), bún ốc (escargot soup), bún riêu (crab meat soup)

Rice plates: (pork, chicken, beef).  Order BBQ lemon grass chicken (gà ướp sả).
