WHAT IS THIS CALLED?

So I went to this Vietnamese restaurant and not a pho restaurant, where they actually had appetizers you didn't have to order.

It was a small dish of a warm set rice-cake in a small dish with green onion, dried shrimp flakes and fresh ground shrimp on top. Then you pour on some fish sauce (nuoc mam) on it and eat.

I have a photo of it:

  2. It looks like it would be called "indigestion"...

  3. Vietnamese pronunciation:

    chow

    English pronunciation:

    porridge
