Vietnamese language schools usually only teach enough English to pass the ToEFL. Shouldn't they teach more?

They ignore culture. They spend weeks on the question, How old are you? Also, How much do you earn? They hardly spend any time at all on pronunciation. The words MEAL and MILK sound identical. They know nothing about culture.

most schools teach to test, those in America included. I know countless kids who can tell you all these history facts by rote, but don't understand the concept behind the,. Thats the nature of schools, passing a test that is not suited to every students is more important the actual, tried and true learning.
