Vietnamese miniority languages?

How do you say basic greetings (hello, how are you, good morning, good afternoon, etc) in languages or dialects spoken by minority groups in Vietnam?

  1. I'm viet but unfortunately can't speak it that well. I know a greeting my mom told me was Chao Banh which is hello basically.

    If you want to have a greeting to minority people, you can speaking Vietnamese as most of them use Vietnamese in accordance with their own languages. Then you can say:

    "xin chao" for hello

    "ban co khoe khong" for how are  you"

    "chao buoi sang" for good morning

    etc...

  4. I don't know how to answer this. 90% -> 95% of Vietnamese people speak Vietnamese as the mother tounge. And people who're speaking dialects or kind of other languges are supposed to be living in high-land areas or near our country boundary; therefore I don't think many of them have Internet access or can speak English well :))
