View computer screen on tv?

Question

I just wanna hook up my laptop to the tv so I can watch videos online on the tv.

laptop- gateway ml6230

t.v.- Sanyo

What do I have to buy or get extra things?

The picture is of an S-video connection. I assume this is on your PC.  If your TV has a similar connection you should be able to buy a cable to hook them together.  That connection should carry audio as well as video.  Newer high-end TVs should have this kind of connection. Remember to select the S-video port on your TV input selection screen.

Remember that in many cases, your PC screen has better resolution then your TV so you might be a little disappointed with the quality.
