Viewing 8mm tapes without camcorder?

how can you watch 8mm tapes without a camcorder?

Go to any electronics store, or department retailer that has an electronics section in the store --- you can buy a VHS adapter, it looks just like a regular VHS tape, but it has a lil window in it that you slip the 8mm inside -- and then you just pop it in your VCR like any ol tape.

There is no adapter for 8mm tapes.  You will need to beg, borrow or steal a 8mm camera to play the tapes.
