Views please on a woman being s attacked as she left a church?

is this not absolutely terrible? Poor woman was praying inside, left the church and was approached by man in late teens, who sexually attacked her. Explain to me, how our god above could let this happen to this poor poor woman.

Absolutely shocking, i wonder about the person who says her faith will get her through it. She must have a lot of faith that lady to accept that she has been attacked in a churchyard after maybe asking God for help and guidance. Just my opinion

I think it's horrendous and what's equally horrendous are the results of a recent Irish survey that says women are partly to blame for being raped depending on what they wear and by walking through remote areas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NO MEANS NO.Even if you are naked,it still means no.Even if you were a prostitute and someone forced themselves on them it is still rape.

It's also a huge mystery as to how people who are supposed to be serving as nuns and priests get to molest children for years and years, and get away with it.

We can no more blame god for this than praise him for an individuals' exam success.  I think we have to accept many evil things happen in this world but religion can be used positively by people to live a moral and good life.  The more that turn to a good life the less there will be of those living a bad life.

Horrible.  But that man was looking for a specific kind of person.  It's an image some people have, that because you go to church, you are cleaner, somehow.  The attacker wanted to ruin that clean image he saw in the woman.  People in a religious building are off their guard, and the attacker knew this, and he is a coward and a sick man for doing that.

It could very well be that our God was trying to get to the attacker, to be good, and the man was not listening.  He has free will too, as much as anybody else, and he chose to do bad with it.  God will get to him when God wants.

I really don't know, but it is vile. Any sexual attack on a woman is disgusting, it really makes my blood boil. Some men should be shot, quite frankly.

It is not unusual in the area I live in, near LA.  Once the mother of a gang member got shot while she was praying outside.  

People nowadays are getting very daring.  They are most likely drug addicts, alcoholics etc and have no conscience..It is very hard to believe anyone can be so heartless; but it is happening..it is terrible..
