Question

only 4 dashes on panel nothing else can you help me?downloading new fix through USB port and everything frozed. Tried turning machine off for a couple of minutes and back on again, and all I could get was four small dashes . haven't been able to get anything else since.This problem has been for three weeks now.noticed that the S/PDIF on back of machine lights up for a second when machine is turned on but goes back off imediately,compared this with a friends machine which is working perfectly fine and his light stays on.Could this be part of the problem.
