Barcelona lost their La Liga title, their Champions League title and one of the best coaches in their history, Josep Guardiola, last season.

However, with Vilanova taking charge of things at the Nou Camp, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 were able to take things slowly and won a few difficult pre-season friendly fixtures.
As soon as the league started, the Catalan giants showed that they haven’t lost the touch in the Spanish La Liga, as they were able to destroy Real Sociedad with the final score-line of 5-1.
Later, the Spanish giants were also able to beat their arch-rivals, Real Madrid, in the first-leg of the Supercopa de Espana. However, they lost 2-1 against Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu in the second-leg and gave the title away to the current Spanish
champions.
La Blaugrana were then able to win against Osasuna, as they fought for the three points while being away from home.
Even though the Catalan giants conceded the first goal, they were able to make a remarkable comeback as they won the match 2-1 in the end.
Most recently, La Blaugrana faced Valencia in La Liga and even though many thought that the Catalan giants will crush their opponents, they could only score a single goal and won the match 1-0.
After their performance against Los Che, Vilanova stated that Barcelona have to improve.
While speaking about his side and how they need to improve, Tito Vilanova said:
“In the second half we noticed the wear and tear from this week’s game at the Bernabeu but it’s nice to have nine points.”
“Of course, there are things that need to be improved although it’s logical that in March you play better than you do now.”
Barcelona are going to face Getafe in their next La Liga fixture and even though it seems as if it will be an easy trip away from home, Getafe have managed to surprise Real Madrid as they won the match 2-1 against the current Spanish champions.
