The Spanish trainer has voiced his satisfaction with the way his players performed in their latest European outing this midweek.

Barcelona head coach, Tito Vilanova, has hailed the amount of effort put in by La Blaugrana in every fixture they come across. According to the mentor, he is impressed by the way his players keep trying until they get a desirable result in favour of their
team.
Vilanova spoke particularly in regard to his side’s victory over Celtic in the group stages of the UEFA Champions League. The Catalan giants played host to the Bhoys this past Tuesday in what turned out to be a fascinating encounter.
Quite contrary to majority of expectations, the Scottish Premier League giants were able to make things fairly difficult for Barca. Despite hosting the match at the Nou Camp, La Azulgrana were put to a stern test during the match.
Although it was a hard-fought clash, the home side was able to emerge victorious at the end. To the joy of the Camp Nou faithful, the Copa del Rey champions managed to end the night with a final score of 2-1.
However, it was not difficult to observe that at one point it seemed almost impossible for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 to secure anything more than a draw from the European fixture.
Soon after the match kicked-off, Giorgos Samaras had his header deflected past Victor Valdes with the help of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Javier-Mascherano-c18071. However, the hosts responded with an equalizer scored by Andres Iniesta.
The match had a thrilling end as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jordi-Alba-c19111 scored in the dying moments and gave his side the all important lead.
While discussing the recent victory, Vilanova was quoted as saying by reporters:
"It says a lot about these players that they keep on trying until the end. They have already won everything, but they just keep on going. Lucky to win at the end? I think it was rather bad luck, that we couldn't finish it earlier. Before some said our game
was boring, I don't think that's a problem anymore."
Barcelona will return to action this weekend as they look forward to their next Spanish La Liga fixture.
