The Catalan mentor praised the current Barcelona squad, claiming that they have managed to achieve a lot over the years, and they will be remembered for many years to come.
Tito Vilanova recently took charge of the Catalan outfit, Barcelona, as Josep Guardiola decided to take a break from football.
Under Josep Guardiola, Barcelona were able to make history as they managed to win 14 titles in only three years.
In his very first season as the first-team coach of La Blaugrana, Josep Guardiola was able to help Barcelona win 6 trophies, something which no other team has managed to achieve.
With Josep Guardiola gone, Tito Vilanova was made in charge of the Catalan club.

Now, with Vilanova becoming the manager of Barcelona, he has hailed the current Barcelona team and has called them ‘legendary’.
According to Tito Vilanova, this Barcelona team is capable of achieving big things, and they will be remembered for many years to come.
While speaking about La Blaugrana and the current squad, Tito Vilanova quoted on Barcelona’s official website:
"This team has done spectacular things. I don't know whether we've established hegemony over the rest, but we have certainly won a lot of titles.”
"We won't be remembered just for the titles we won, though, but also for how we did it. This Barcelona will forever be remembered."
Barcelona most recently faced Real Madrid in the Supercopa de Espana, and prior to the game, Vilanova clearly stated that he wants to win each and every title in his vicinity.
Before the fixture, the Catalan mentor stated:
“Barcelona are a side who, particularly in recent years, have become used to winning everything.”
Barcelona won the first leg of the Supercopa de Espana which took place at the Nou Camp.
The Catalan giants won the match 3-2, and now they will be traveling to the Santiago Bernabeu on 29th of August to play out the second leg of the same cup competition.
