Malaga bought Cazorla from the Yellow Submarine and it has been reported that the newly relegated side are about to file a complaint against Malaga who failed to fully pay for the player.
Malaga managed to become a strong force in La Liga last season. This happened because the Spanish club spent a lot of money on buying new players and one of them was the Villarreal star, Santi Cazorla.
The Spanish midfielder is an exceptional talent and while many other clubs wanted to sign the pint-sized player, Malaga were the ones who decided to spend cash on the Villarreal player and lured him into the club.
The Spaniard helped Malaga end the season on a high. The Spanish side are now in the top four, which means that they will be playing the qualification stages of the UEFA Champions League.
In case Malaga qualify for the Champions League, it will not only be their first European struggle under http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Manuel-c23383 Pellegrini; in fact, it will also earn them a lot of cash which they can spend on buying other players.
However, for now Malaga are under other sorts of troubles. It has been reported that the fourth-placed Spanish club in La Liga failed to pay the full price of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Santi-Cazorla-c32505.
Villarreal were relegated from the Spanish La Liga last season and they are currently in dire need of cash. Therefore, after failing to receive the payments from Malaga, Villarreal have filed a complaint against Malaga as they want their payments to be received as soon as possible.
When Cazorla was being signed, the agreement stated that Malaga will be paying for him in two instalments.
The first instalment was to be made in April while the other in May. However, even though Villarreal received the payment in April, they did not receive anything in May and since then Malaga have not paid Villarreal anything for the player they purchased from the club.
This is not the only problem which Malaga are currently facing. It has also been reported that the Spanish club has not paid 40% of its players’ wages and in case they fail to do so, strict action will be taken against the club by the Spanish footballing authorities.
