Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas insists that the 5-2 derby defeat against Arsenal will not inflict permanent damage on their attempts to finish above them for a Champions League place.
Prior to the game, Tottenham had been a point above Arsenal in 7th place, but the Gunners ran riot at the Emirates on Saturday, dealing a huge blow to Tottenham’s morale and confidence by scoring 5 goals against them. Arsenal did have a one-man
advantage over Spurs, but they were just ruthless in attack and completely dismantled their rivals.
Tottenham have now suffered three back to back defeats in the league, and Arsenal have moved up to 6th spot with an important and morale boosting victory.
Spurs saw Adebayor go from hero to zero within minutes as the Togolese was sent off following a late tackle on http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Santi-Cazorla-c32505. The player had given the visitors the lead in the opening 10 minutes, but was given his marching orders in the 18th minute

did.

their mentality.
Speaking to the press, he said:
“When you are poor, it can do damage, but when you play like this I don’t think it can. We felt we had a go. We felt things that could have fallen our way fell http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429’s way. We compliment them for the result but we have a lot of belief in each other.”
This is not the first time that Villas-Boas tasted defeat in such manner against Arsenal. Last season, the Portuguese had seen Arsenal score 5 goals against him at Stamford Bridge when was in charge of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786. This time however, the defeat means more considering
