Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas is pleased with the progress he has made with the club so far as his side saw out a 1-1 draw against MLS side LA Galaxy.
The North London club impressed the manager in Tuesday night’s 1-1 draw against LA Galaxy in Los Angeles. Villas-Boas said that it was the ‘sharpness’ of the team that caught his eye and he hopes to see more of the same in the coming season.

Icelandic international Gylfi Sigurdsson also came close to scoring, but saw his shot at goal go wide as the score line stayed 1-1.
Speaking to the press after the game, Villas-Boas said:
“It was very good for us as we continue preparations.”
“We haven’t stopped our training, and it’s been intensive training, so it was great to see a good, physical response.”
“We look nice and sharp for a team that is only 15 days into the season. I think we have a lot of time to prepare, so it’s good to see them at this level.”
“We had opportunities to win the game, but building physically and as a team is what we’re looking for and in that sense I’m extremely please.”
Villas-Boas also shed light on the injuries of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Kyle-Walker-c21566 and Rafael Van Der Vaart and is hopeful that both players will return to the squad in time to face New York Red Bulls next week.
