Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas has slammed ex-player Luka Modric for fueling speculation about Gareth Bale and has told the Croatian to mind his own business.

Along with Modric, it was expected that Bale might also move away from the club, but the player committed his long term future by signing a contract extension, while Modric left for Madrid.

"It's extremely difficult, if not impossible. Obviously Modric is aware of Gareth's performances because of his love for Tottenham and the fact that he is very connected with him and this football club."
"But it's completely impossible. I think Modric now has to think about his own team. They have qualified for the Champions League already, but his team finished second, and he has to worry about getting into the quarter finals whenever the draw comes out."
