Former Porto and Chelsea manager, Andre Villas-Boas has gone on to turn down the opportunity to manage Sao Paulo.
It has been revealed that the Portuguese manager was given the opportunity to take over as the manager of the South American club, but Villas-Boas opted to not take up the offer.

The sixty two year old manager didn’t have the best of runs with the club and hence they opted to let him leave.
Baptista also went on to reveal that the major problem that caused the move to fail, was the fact that Villas-Boas didn’t want to come in until January.
When talking about the potential move and change in management at the club, Baptista went on to state: "He said today that he would not accept our offer"
"He wanted some time to plan things, and I do not have time to wait.”

Villas-Boas has gone on to have a very successful spell at Porto, where he managed to help the team win four trophies in one season. He also helped the team go on and pick up the Europa League trophy, which helped secure a move for him to Chelsea.
However, following a very unsuccessful run with the Blues, the manager was shown the door at the club.
At the moment, a number of teams are reportedly eyeing up the Portuguese manager, as they feel that despite his poor run with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786, he is still going to be able to do great things in the future.
Tottenham Hotspur are currently the favourites to land the player, but for the time being Villas-Boas is still unemployed.
