The Portuguese will take his side to Old Trafford tomorrow as he prepares for his first real challenge in the Premier League. The manager is well aware of the striking talent United have at their disposal, and is not taking the clash lightly.

Now, an improving Tottenham side will be full of confidence as it travels to Manchester. The manager has acknowledged United’s attacking threat ahead of the game, and considers the signing of Van Persie an important factor in their bid for the title.
"When you can afford to buy one of the best strikers in the Premier League and further strengthen a squad that is already so good, it sends a strong signal to everybody," Villas-Boas said.
