Vin number for car title?

Where is the Vin number located for your car vehicle is it on the registration title? also if i made a mistake on the title i signed in the wrong place how do i get a new form ? in california

Number should be on registration.  Its also on your car windshield on the bottom drivers side.  You need to go to the title bureau and ask about a new title.

From outside the car look through the base of the windshield at the dashboard on the drivers side. You cant miss it.

not sure about signing in the wrong spot, but your VIN number is on the front dash over the steering wheel it looks like a rectangle silver thing.
