  1. I think Vince Young is very overrated. They never corrected his throwing mechanics in college but he got by with his feet. In the NFL he cant do that.

  2. Over rated as an athlete?  No.  A great athlete.

Over rated as an NFL QB?  Yes. All I ever hear about Young is that he is so mobile, he can run but bottom line in the NFL is can your QB be accurate and complete passes.  That Young has not shown he can do.  He doesn't read Ds well, he's not very accurate, and he still makes way to many bad decisions.  Will he ever develop into a average NFL QB?  Maybe but he'll never be considered a great one.

  3. I dont think he is. He was rookie of the Year in 06 and the Titans made the playoffs last year. The passing game was a dissapointment for the Titans  but that wasnt all Youngs fault, I watched games where his receivers dropped alot of balls that should have been caught. They need a receiver that is a deep threat to emerge or pick one up. I think that their offense will improve this year especially if they let Young do more running.

  4. Vince Young? I dont think he's overrated but just needs better talent around him. Has no true threat at wideout to go too or a solid 2nd reciever to rely on.His running backs are a mess with Chris Brown always injured and LeDale White is always off and on never knowing which White shows up the 100 yd rusher who makes a impact or the 20 yd in 15 carries one.Young still needs to develope a little more but is in the right direction. They need to let him play his kind of game.Texas intrusted young to lead there offense and i think the titans need too as well for us to witness inVinceble again like we did against USC

  5. he is overrated but he will be something trust me

  6. He'll come around he may not end up a Brady  or P.Manning but he will be great hopefully he does it this year.

  7. Absolutely, he's already proven that.

  8. It's too early to tell, but honestly he doesn't seem to love the game as much as some (he mentioned he almost retired after his first season) so who knows if he'll ever live up to his potential?

  9. Right now he is by FAR the most overrated player in football.

BUT that could change very quickly. He has increbible talent, so i wouldnt count out a great career quite yet.

  10. It's not too early to tell if he's overrated.  It wasn't too early to tell if he was rookie of the year in '06.  He's no QB.  He's about half of what Micheal Vick was (without all the maiming and killing of dogs in the backyard).  At this point in his career I'd say he's on par with Charlie Frye.  Anyone remember that guy.  Before Anderson took over in Cleveland, Frye was a young QB who could run and scramble but couldn't hit a bull in the **** with a handfull of sand.  The only difference between he and Young is the hype.  The hype is the reason he's overrated.  Without the hype he'd be rated just fine.

  11. And what sort of receivers has he had to throw to, O Great One???
