Vincent Kompany is looking forward to Manchester City’s schedule

Manchester City defender and Belgian international, Vincent Kompany has gone on to admit that he is looking forward to City’s schedule in January. The team is set to play four Premier League games, mixed with their FA Cup games this coming month
and this could lead to the team being unusually fatigued.
Manchester City manager, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 had gone on to admit that his side are not very happy with their schedule, given how the team are set to play Sunderland, followed by a game against Liverpool two days later and then playing an extra fixture.
The team is then going to play Manchester United in the FA Cup and then http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 in the Carling Cup, all in January.
Despite the manager feeling the pressure, it seems like his team’s captain, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Vincent-Kompany-c36184 is more than happy to play all the extra games.
The defender feels that playing so many big games is going to help the players really prove their worth and would also test the team on different levels. Kompany also feels that if City manage to come out on top at the end of these matches, they could easily
go on and claim some silverware this season.
When talking about the coming month, Kompany is quoted to have said: "Personally, I love it. I am looking forward to that month, knowing that every game is going to be a big game”

"It is something that usually makes me raise my personal level and makes the team raise their level.

"We are a team capable of doing good things on big occasions. For us that is maybe not a bad thing.”
The player then admitted that despite the risk of getting injured, he just wanted to play as much as he could, since that is what he loves to do.
"But we are all individuals that love the game first of all. Just like the fans want to see a lot of games, we want to play a lot.”
"But I absolutely understand the concerns of people who are probably thinking what is the best for us."
