in the next league season.

City a well needed win and also made it certain that they would be crowned the English Premier League champions.
Manchester City finished level on points with their title rivals Manchester United but it was their goal difference that proved to be the deciding factor between the two clubs when it came to the title race. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roberto-c31294 Mancini’s team
did gain two decisive wins over Manchester United last season and it was Kompany who scored against the Red Devils at the Etihad stadium near the end of the season to give his team a well required push in the title race.
Kompany said, “There’s so much more great stuff ahead of us, and that’s what interests me. If you lay down the right foundations, you can be successful for a long time and that’s the aim. I’ve been to far too many places to remember
this summer, but the main thing is that everywhere I’ve been, everyone had apparently seen the game or heard about that last day of the season.”
He added, “I’m convinced this time we’re going to have a strong performance. Pre-season is massive. If you have a good pre-season, you usually have a good season. It’s such an important part of our whole campaign.”
Manchester City will hope that they can go one better this season and win the Premier League by a margin of points whilst also maintaining a good record in the UEFA Champions League where they were knocked out at the group stages
last season.
