Both, Muldoon and Wells, made a strong run throughout the tournament and had been impressive at the European baize. They sparked their cue tremendously in the group stage as well as the playoffs stage
to earn their deserving place in the final.
Muldoon performed brilliantly from the very beginning as he topped his group and then after reaching into playoffs, the Irishman made a strong impression on his opponents until the semi-final stage.
He showed some great snooker skills in the playoffs and made it to the ultimate match of the championship.

The Neath potter, Wells proved he is worthy of the final spot, playing outstandingly in the playoffs.
