The new head coach of Fiorentina has stated that he is hopeful that the club’s prized asset would be staying at the club for the future, as the club is strengthening.

Juve conceded that they were monitoring the situation of the player, and tested the resolve of the Viola outfit with a couple of bids. The Florence outfit stated that they would be listening to offers in excess of 30 million Euros, but Juve were not prepared
to cross the 25 million Euros threshold they had set for themselves.
Andrea Della Valle later went on to comment that they would be keeping hold of the services of their prized asset and also remarked that if the player wanted to leave the club after a year, they would not come in his way.
However, after watching many experienced players leave the club it had been suggested that the Montenegrin striker would be looking for a way out of the club as well. Montella brushed aside any such rumours and remarked that the player was having fun in
the training sessions.
He further went on to state:
“I saw Jovetic smiling, he was even making jokes. I don’t know if that’s because at that moment he was thinking about staying or going!”
He commented that the Montenegrin international should feel his importance in the squad, as the team is being built around him. Montella further went on to comment on his feeling of the situation, and former Catania boss was fairly optimistic regarding the
situation and remarked:
“I think he’d be disappointed if he left, because we are building an important team here. We’re giving him a team for his characteristics. This is a side with quality and I am certain that Jovetic strongly wants to stay.”
