The former Catania manager has admitted to the importance of the Montenegrin international at the Viola, and has revealed that he will opt for tactics best suited to the budding star.
Vincenzo Montella has voiced his excitement at taking charge of Fiorentina as their new manager, and has revealed that he aims at restoring the club to its former glory.
The former Catania tactician has signed a two-year contract with the Viola, and was quick to stress the need for the club to keep a tight hold of its best talent.

The Viola chief acknowledged the transfer rumours surrounding many of the players in his squad, and mentioned that he will personally sit down with all of them to get a good idea of their desire to stay with the club for the next season.
While talking to the press, the 37-year-old said:
“Jovetic is an incredible player, of the highest level, and I hope I will be able to Coach him. I’ll speak to everyone though, as I need to see if certain players are motivated and ready to stay.”

The former Catania manager chose to remain tight-lipped about his failed move to the Giallorossi, for which he had also expressed a lot of enthusiasm, and stated that the transfer could not be made possible due to a number of reasons.
When asked if he plans on continuing his 4-3-3 system at the Viola even if it messes up with Jovetic’s style of play, the Gigliati tactician stated that he is not fixated with any single formation, and maintained that the his methods will remain the same
regardless of the formation.
The Fiorentina chief admitted that the Montenegrin international will be able to give his best playing alongside another striker. The Gigliati manager further suggested that he may alter his game plan to give adequate space to the budding star to perform
at his best.
