  1. Vinegar doesn't hurt them at all! Lots of people put a little vinegar in their horse's water a few days before going to a show, if they have a horse that is picky about it's water. Then they just put some vinegar in the show water and they think it's the same.

  2. Vinegar won't harm him.  In fact, he will probably avoid the smell and go elsewhere.

  3. no.  vinegar is a great fly deterent.  it also helps joints...there's a million *safe* uses for vinegar, in and outside of the horse world.

why do you want to kill grass in the pasture?  i can see using the vinegar to kill certain weeds, but why the grass?  allowing a horse to graze on natural grass is the best thing for them, physically, emotionally and mentally.

  4. You can spray vinegar water on your horses and the flies will avoid him like he has the plague.  You can even put vinegar in his feed and discourage flies from bothering him.

  5. Nope, shouldn't be a problem at all.  In fact, I put apple cider vinegar in my old gelding food and he actually eats all of it.

  6. vineger wont hurt them at all. in fact i used to put vineger in my horses water so that flys wouldnt bug him during the summer :)

    hope this helps :) :)
