  1. Can write a passage on him...but I think the gurus can do it better. :) Yeah definitely he didn't work enough to improve his luck, and hence a cricketing potential wasted......

But please, have u ever caught a glimpse of him in a Bollywood movie !?! (*shudder*) u'll WANT to forget him then....(lol)

  2. He came shone and disappeared like a comet.

  3. Yes, I agree. You are absolutely right. He was nothing less than Sachin. It was a huge talent wasted.

Thanks Joel, for this. Even most of the Indians will say 'who cares'.

  4. A true copy of Sachin in performance per match. But what happened ? Sad story for India. If only this man played as long as Sachin, India would have been the best side in the world.

  5. good Indian cricketer.

  6. was very talented, but couldnt handle so nuch fame in so early time. and some politics specially tendulkar was on his way.

  7. He is a spent force.  He could not do justice to his talent and as such did not succeed in his carreer.

  8. he had lots of talent

  9. I'd say waste of talent, because he never fully utilized the early ability he showed with the bat. His technical ability was a bit inconsistent and hardly ever fluent enough to evolve his game but he could have worked on it to improve. I thought his behaviour at not being selected was rather petulant (he retired at what? 24/25?) if he worked harder he could have been a great player (he was on a par with Sachin afterall), especially after showing so much early promise.
