Vinotemp wine cooler won't cool

Question

I have a winecooler that I bought at costco about 2 years ago.  When I got it it really didnt cool. So I let it sit figuring I would get around to fixing it or having one of their tech's come out and fix my problem.  Then I tried switching outlets after it sitting for a couple of months.  It Worked!!  I had my floors cleaned about 6 months later and had to unplug it to move it.  When I went to plug it back in it reverted back to the same problem.  Running but not cooling. It sounds like a fan is on but I'm not hearing the ticking, tinking I did when it was cooling.  I was frustrated and tried another outlet and it still didn't work.  I called vinotemp and of course the 1 year warranty had expired the month before I called even though I only had it on for about 6 months.  Ive let it sit for almost a year. Ive just tried to use it again and again it runs but won't cool.  Do I not have enough electricity to run it? Not enough Amps or something?  Or is their no more freon? Or compressor busted?  I'm at a loss. Thought I would check online before I had a repair man come in.  If I have to go with a repair man how much would it be to replace a compressor in this small unit, if that's the problem?thanksRon
