Vintage bike, SANDS?

i got this three speed sort of cross bike thing, it has the word sands written on the side, i was wondering if this was, at one time a popular bike brand and where i could find ore information about it.

  1. Sorry, never heard of it. Maybe it was a rental from White Sands Bike Shop and they placed the label on for an identifier.
