i am writting a paper on the inpedendence of india. my thesis is Monhondas Gandhi's non violent protests only freed india becuase of the violence, that had caused tention and moral outrage, before him.

for part of my paper i need opposing aguements. Unfortunetly i have realized that not enough people know enough about the liberation of india to create a decent aguement.

what i need is an aguement that goes against some part of my thesis.

Britain wanted to off-load India before the outbreak of WW1 but the problem was and still is that fraction that is Pakistan and where most the violence sprang from after independence...

Gandhi was well aware of Britains plans to give independence to India and made full use of the railway the British built for India to spread his message...by not telling the Indians of Britains intentions he was well placed to earn their praise when independence finally came...

Britains concern that a bloodbath would ensue between mainly muslims and hindus was the sticking point that delayed their Independence for nearly fifty years...
