Violent dreams?

Question

I had dreams in which I've been shot with a gun.In one dream I'm protecting my friends and I woke up just before I died.In the other I'm with my parents and my brother and sister I remember I'm in the backseat of a car and get shot in the neck and I again wake up before dying.Theres another dream where my mom is kidnapped and I followed the guy to a house and I kill the guy but it's too late he's killed her already.Why do I have violent dreams?

maybe you have seen so many news about violence, and some of them have shocked so, that you are not able to forget them.

And you are pretty concerned about what can happen to your family this days.

So take it easy and try to live a better life with them when you are awake. Bad dreams will disappear.

being shot with a gun = being criticized

Protecting your friends = seeking for approval,

being in the backseat of a car and got shot in the neck = lack of decision making

mom is kidnapped = losing security

you killed the guy = release of anger and hatred

Those violent dreams of yours have one common thing.  You are feeling helpless in many ways.  You want to be known, you want to be protected and  you want to make your own decision.  However, in reality, you may be feeling helpless in those things.  and that is why release the anger and hatred and the violent dreams basically symbolize your helplessness.
