Okay, my dream started first to enter the international violin competition when I started learning violin just like 2 years ago. But then, upon research, I found out that most people who joined the competition started learning violin at a young age and they are child prodigies. Kyung Wha Chung, Sarah Chang, Itzhak Perlman to name a few. Okay, so definitely I cannot enter the violin competition anymore since I almost reaching my adulthood and a static amatuer in violin.

But I wanna perform. I love the sound of the violin. At least I want to learn up well to have a violin performance.

A year ago, I am tutored by a new violin teacher. She's a pedagogue but the problem is that I don't think I'm benefiting from her plus another major problem is expensive tutor fee.

I want to learn up my violin well, but how do I start?

  1. Get the violin master e-book. Lessons are given in video formats as well. Great for home lessons. It is priceless and worked for me. Good luck. http://tinyurl.com/64yqle

  2. Well, I think people neglect their general education.  Being a great artist means educating yourself, and it has nothing to do with age.  It has to do with a sharp desire to learn.

I would read more;  learn to use the language better (sorry).  No "wanna's" and misuse of the language.  For example:  all teachers are pedagogues.  Pedagogue simply means teacher.

Over all, broad general education, and knowledge about music, in general, will help you more than anything.

You want to "have a violin performance?"  What do you mean by that?  Play in orchestra and chamber music?  That you can certainly do.  Pursue that.
