Violin from within?

Anyone know any good violin songs, something not bouncy, something a bit slow or intense or sad. with or without words is fine. Thanks guys

  1. -Any of the ten de Beriot violin concertos. The #9 Op. 104 Allegro Maestoso is my fav.

    -You can pick and choose from the Bach unaccompanied solos. The D minor Partita is pretty good.

    -Meditation from Thias by Massenet.

    -Estrellita by Ponce

    -Chausson Poeme in E flat minor.

    -Chaconne by Vitali.

    -Zigeunerweisen from Gypsy Airs Op.20.

    -Adagio in G minor by Tomaso Albinoni.

    - Ashokan Farewell by Jay Ungar, but it's really easy and is more of a fiddle tune.

    Those are the first ones to come to mind. Hope it helps.
