    Any good violin have a matching 2 piece back and if you are willing to pay the price, than a one-piece back sells up to $3500.

    The advantage is that the instrument has a deep, robust sound with a responsive lower register and an open 'e string.

    Now, any two-piece back will range from $9000 to $12000. The violin produces a fine, penetrating resonance. The more resonance and projection, the more you are going to pay for a flame two-piece back.
