Okay, my problem is that my alarm on my ford explorer does not go off when I struck the truck's tires, winshield, windows. It used to but not no more. I have heard that I have to look at the LED to see how many times it blink. According to a friend he told me that the LED needs to blink twice in order for the alarm to work when someone hits the car. I can't find the program to set the LED to blink twice, I only can set the alarm to blink three times. Any help will be helpful.

  2. Sounds like the shock sensor has gone bad and needs replacing. You can check out Viper's website for the part, or take it a qualified alarm specialist to have it replaced and re-adjusted. Not an expensive job. Also, try putting in valet mode and resetting it. Check your alarm's owner's manual for the proper procedure.
