Viper alarm remote control question?

I just got a viper alarm today, i got the 5900 model and i like it so far...i just had a few questions...

does the little control guy start beeping if your alarm is about to go off? and if it does is there a way you can set it so that it will vibrate or something instead?

and is there anyway to lock the pad so that buttons arent being pushed while the control is in my pocket?

any other tips/tricks let me know please
