Kohli expressed these thoughts yesterday after forming an outstanding batting partnership of 78 runs with Sharma in the 3-day tour game against Cricket Australia’s Chairman’s XI.
Talking to the media, the talented batter said, “We know in future we are going to play for the team so I don't see any competition in that, it's just a matter of who gets to play when, who gets into that zone and start scoring runs.”
Both Kohli and Sharma are part of the Indian squad which is set to face the Aussies in the 4-Test home series on the Oz soil, starting from December 26.
