Virender Sehwag, AB de Villiers win Test, ODI player of the year award
The International Cricket Council awards for 2010 were announced in a glittering ceremony in Bangalore on Wednesday and Indian opening batsman http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Virender-Sehwag-c95429 was name the Test Player of the Year for the
previous year.

Of these players, de Villiers was awarded the ODI Player of the Year award. Tendulkar won the people’s choice award.

In the Associate Player of the Year category, the Dutch all-rounder Ryan ten Doeschate edged out the competition to bag the award. ten Doeschate has been one of the most consistent performers in the English

England’s tall and lanky pace bowler, Steven Finn was awarded the Emerging Player of the Year for 32 wickets off eight Test matches. The Kiwi side won the ICC Spirit of Cricket Award, and Pakistani umpire
Aleem Dar got the Umpire of the Year Award. This is his second award in a row after Australia’s Simon Taufel had won it five times in a row.
